The variety I got from this session was so great..but I'm mostly going to share the super fun shots!

Starting with this great belly shot of little A and a family portrait starting with their feet!

Carpet?

Anyone have any thoughts on shag carpet? I'm starting to make some decisions on what we want for out new house.....lots of decisions to make! We will be putting new carpet in upstairs in the bedrooms and I've always loved medium length shag but I don't know anything about how it will wear or if it's any good. So if you have thoughts let me know. You can leave a comment here by clicking on the tiny little word comment at the bottom of this post.

Thanks

Adam
I've been a little slower so I've been editing some of my own personal images taken throughout 07. This is a sweet comparison shot of Adam done a year ago. He was 4 weeks old in the picture and 13 months old on the stool!

oops...!

I accidentally deleted the article about selling my house. If you didn't read it want want to hear my story, email me. I'm being too lazy to type it all out again.

I'll update about the move as it happens.

Sorry!

Mother Daughter session

I really love capturing moments and creating treasures with my camera...it's the reason I do what I do. But sometimes I have a session that I know is going to be extra special in years to come. This was one of those. While I was shooting this session I had to stop and say how much I wish I had pictures of me and my sisters and my mom from when we were all younger. I would treasure that! I don't have it but I will make sure that my boys have images of them together with my husband and I because I know when they get older they will treasure the capture of time that they don't remember.

These girls were great to work with and beautiful! Thank you ladies for letting me share. Your session just might inspire others to capture time.

Recent cutie!

I know I've said it before but I am the luckiest photographer....all my clients are beautiful!!!

And this little one is no different. She had a severe case of the "wiggles" but we worked through it and got some shots that I know her mom will love! These were a few that caught my eye.

Check back soon for more....I start my Leap year contest sessions this week.

Thanks for looking Don't forget to leave me a comment:0)

Camden, Maine winter elopement

I was so excited, for two reasons, when Sophea contacted me from Mass. and asked me to cover her elopement ceremony and family portraits in Camden. First, I have never done an elopement before and second, to have any wedding work in the winter in Maine is very rare.

So off I went this past weekend to Camden to photograph Sophea and Sergio while they said their vows on a crisp leap year day! In attendance for the ceremony were Sophea's parent's, here son and two Inn keepers. It was so sweet!

Despite it being cold, they wanted their ceremony outside and were game for some outside pictures...like some snaps of them doing their first dance in the amphitheater.

Thanks Sophea and Sergio for including me in your special day!

More Elopement Pictures

The group shot is all of Sophea's family that joined them on Saturday and took part in a large family portrait session. They were a lot of fun!

And don't you just love that hood on Sophea!! Perfect for a winter wedding in Maine!
